About the Artist

MXPony is a multidisciplinary artist from Northern California that has worked in fine jewelry making, welded sculpture, woodwork, wheel thrown ceramics, as well as painting in oils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels. Outside of training in the jewelry industry and obtaining a degree in design, MXPony is primarily a self-taught artist that seeks to push the boundaries of expression within intersecting mediums.

Artist Perspective

The main threads that tie together the artist's visions are that of healing and wholeness. These images can appear and be experienced as humorous while inviting the viewer to connect with a deeper undercurrent of introspection, hopefully allowing the viewer to re-enter the present moment with a greater sense of peace.

The ARt of Life

While primarily focusing on the arts, MXPony finds joy in many other activities such as biking, hiking, camping, horseback riding, and following the sport of Muay Thai Kickboxing. MXPony is also passionate about international travel, finding exposure to different cultures to be inspirational and exhilarating. While her two cats continue to be a great source of joy and inspiration, she finds that nothing can outweigh the value of friends, family, and faith.
